A Hamilton NJ woman died as a result of injuries sustained in a tragic car accident on Norttingham Way in Hamilton, New Jersey.

The fatal vehicle accident occurred around 6:15 p.m. According to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office, the victim was killed after being involved in a collision with a pickup truck as she pulled out of the Gasco Gas Station located on Norttingham Way in Hamilton, NJ. The driver of the truck was traveling eastbound on the highway at the time of the collision.

The force of impact reportedly caused the victim’s minivan to crash into a second car that was parked in a driveway just off the roadway.

When Hamilton NJ police officers, firefighters, and other emergency medical responders got to the scene of the auto accident, they found the victim trapped inside her wrecked automobile. Hamilton firefighters were eventually able to free the victim from the car. She was then transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, NJ.

Doctors at the Trenton hospital treated the victim for her traumatic injuries, but she eventually succumbed to her critical injuries and was pronounced dead the following day. Medical examiners have not yet conducted an autopsy on the victim, but it is believed that she died due to trauma sustained in the car accident.

The 53-year-old victim in the fatal car accident lived in Hamilton, NJ. She was not initially identified by authorities; officials waited until they could contact her relatives before releasing her identity to the public.

Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck that reportedly crashed into the victim was uninjured in the car wreck. He is a 28-year-old resident of Howell, New Jersey.

At this time, Mercer County prosecutors have not filed any criminal charges against the driver of the truck. He has also not been cited for any traffic violations.
